With her $25K sunglasses in-hand, Dana Wilkey stepped out this weekend to take her 5-year-old son for a fun day at a Disney theme park amid news that the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was arrested by the FBI in June and is facing fraud charges. Nothing like a day at the happiest place on Earth to escape all the drama, right?

“Off to Disney woot woot!” Dana tweeted Saturday morning, not clarifying if she went to Disneyworld or Disneyland. The photo of the 41-year-old former reality star and her son, John Cayden, is pretty adorable. Clearly the mother-son duo enjoyed their day at the theme park — though we can’t help but feel badly for little John.

As we said, Dana is currently facing federal fraud charges — conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, and aiding and abetting, to be specific — due to a scheme she and a few associates concocted over the course of at least six years.

“Between in or about February 2006 through at least February 2012, Dana Wilkey, through Adwil Agency accounts, paid directly to Lissa Phoenix, Skylar Phoenix, and Rodeo Pink, approximately 87 checks totaling approximately $360,000 in illegal and undisclosed kickbacks related to Adwil Agency’s business with Blue Shield,” the FBI press release reads.

Dana, presumed innocent until proven guilty, awaits her day in court just like Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Joe and Teresa Giudice. Fellow Bravo star Apollo Nida has already been sentenced to 7 years in prison after being convicted for bank fraud and identity theft.

Clearly Dana isn’t in hiding now that she’s out on a $250K bond, and is going about her life just like normal given the circumstances.
