When the announcer begins the teaser for tonight’s Dance Moms Season 4 reunion special with the ominous words, “blood is in the air,” you know you’re in for a doozy. Titled “Seeing Red,” the midseason catch-up is sure to be dramatic, given all that went down so far this year — an actual assault trial, a cast overhaul, and the loss of Abby Lee Miller’s mom. But what will they actually talk (re: scream) about?
According to the Lifetime sneak peek for the ep, there will certainly be a lot of raised voices between Abby and the stage mamas, which is to be expected. Holly is mad about the type of dances daughter Nia is getting, Chloe’s mom Christi is “done!” yet again with the dance company director, and Abby is on a power trip. In other words, just another day in the life of Dance Moms.
We also get a little more info via the network’s summary, which proves that we’ll be delving into some of the biggest issues of the year. Read on for a synopsis of tonight’s reunion:
“After a season full of fights, losses, and heartbreak, Abby and the moms gather to discuss the most memorable moments of the past year. Abby discusses the pain of losing her mother, while Kelly’s expulsion from the team is still fresh in Christi’s mind. Soon, old wounds are re-opened and everyone is ‘seeing red.’”
Dance Moms “Seeing Red” Season 4 reunion special airs tonight at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
