It’s always bittersweet when we see the official Dancing With the Stars cast list. We’re happy for the pros who made the cut, and devastated to lose some of our favorites. The DWTS Season 16 cast was revealed today and three new pros are competing for the first time, but several beloved faces have either elected not to dance or were just not asked to return for the spring 2013...

The professional dancers on Dancing With the Stars give up their lives for the show, working up to 10 weeks of air time, plus about a month of pre-season rehearsals. (And let’s not forget that some of them are working two seasons a year.)

So, how much do the pros get paid? Well, until one of them comes forward and says “Here’s what I made this season from the show”...
