If you missed the news earlier this week, here's a recap: Dancing With the Stars has been cut down to one day a week for the fall season. That's right — no more Results Show. We have mixed feelings about the change, but how do the cast and crew feel?

E! caught up with host Tom Bergeron and judge Bruno Tonioli, who both shared their thoughts on the change."I am hopeful," the ever-chipper Tom Bergeron said. "I get why they did it."He explained that the show has suffered ratings erosion, and that, in fact, "only 40 percent of the viewers who watch on Tuesday watch the Monday show." — Who knew? — "So that's a big pool of eyeballs that hopefully we can consolidate."

He also expressed hope that the Monday show will be "more action-packed."

That said, while Tom thinks the change could help the show's longevity, he admits "in the short term it hurts, because you lose some staff members, very likely."

Bruno also stayed positive, saying that their duty is to deliver a great show, and he's sure they can come back and do that.

Catch the Dancing With the Stars Season 16 finale on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
