Zendaya and Val Chmerkovskiy may not have won the Dancing With the Stars Season 16 Mirror Ball, but at least they seem to be having fun in the wake of the show. Zendaya has been continuing to talk about her DWTS experience in the media, and every new interview is a reminder of why this adorable youngster is a true star in the making.
Zendaya and Val were recently on Live! With Kelly & Michael, where DWTS Season 13 star Carson Kressley helped interview them. The duo once again pulled out their now-signature Hip Hop moves, and after the performance, they chatted about Val's finale eye injury.
"The things is, in ballroom dancing, the height should be roughly around here," Val said, raising himself on tip-toe as Zendaya bent her knees to show the difference between the ideal relative heights and their reality.
Val added that his choreography requires a lot of speed and sharp movement — "it's punchy" offered Carson — and he "didn't want to adjust that." Artistic integrity is worth an elbow or two to the face!
"I think my dad's a little proud, I'm not going to lie!" Zendaya joked when it was suggested she could join a fight club next.
Meanwhile, Zendaya also sat down with MTV, where she dished on her fellow contestants. Apparently Jacoby Jones is the most likely to trash talk (but in a funny way — and no one ever beat up on Zendaya herself, because she was the kid of the gang), Andy Dick is the mostly likely to forget his steps ("but he did a really great job"), and Victor and Jacoby are the biggest pranksters.
We love that Zendaya is still full of huge smiles and a positive attitude. Check out both interviews below:
