Dancing With The Stars was definitely a good move for Disney star Zendaya Coleman.

The young actress has built a solid tween audience in the role of Rocky Blue on the Disney Channel's hit show Shake It Up, but her recent gig on Season 16 of Dancing With The Stars has helped her branch out from that core audience.

Falling just short of winning the whole season, Zendaya said she added about 100,000 Twitter followers to her account each week of competition — some of those followers being parents and grandparents of her original fans — which catapulted her account to nearly 3 million.

In an interview about her career, Zendaya and her father/manager, Kazembe Ajamu Coleman, said her next goal is to reach out to all generations with her new album on Hollywood Records, which debuts this fall. Along with the CD, she'll build that audience with a 13-city summer tour, a new music video, a troupe of new dancers, and and all-kid band.

Her upcoming single is called "Replay," and Zendaya says, "I had this whole vision for how I wanted [the single] to be and how I wanted [the video] to look." She added that she tapped choreographer Ian Eastwood to help her with her video, which comes out later this summer.
