Put on your dancing shoes, Dancing With the Stars fans — we have to celebrate pro Derek Hough. The seasoned reality competition star was nominated for not one, but two 2013 Emmys, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

This news comes on the heels of DWTS’ nomination for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program and Tom Bergeron’s nom for Outstanding Reality or Reality-Competition Host (with the most). If Derek sweeps the awards with his choreography nominations and Tom wins again, the challenge is only beating The Amazing Race, which has won every year (except in 2010 when it lost to Top Chef) since 2003.

This round of awards comes from Season 15 and part of Season 16, though surprisingly nothing with this season’s partner (and fellow winner) Kellie Pickler. Derek is up for choreography awards — which notably were grouped into two sections — for his Mambo with Shawn Johnson (“Para Los Rumberos”), All-Stars semi-finals Contemporary routine with Allison Holker (“Heart Cry”), Quickstep finale performance with Shawn (“Hey Pachuco”), gravity-defying Season 16 Macy Stars of Dance number with Jaimie Goodwin (“Walking on Air”), and sweet AT&T Spotlight Dance with blind ballet dancer Brilynn Rakes (“Stars”).
