On the heels of Kym Johnson taking a break from Dancing With the Stars after 14 seasons on the hit dancing competition, two other fan favorites have followed suit.

Wetpaint Entertainment has exclusively learned that two other female pros won’t return in full-time roles come this fall’s Season 17.

"Anna [Trebunskaya] and Chelsie [Hightower] won't be back as pros this season," a DWTS insider tells Wetpaint. Though it’s sad news, it also doesn’t come as much of a surprise — Anna left after ten seasons on the show, departing after Season 15: All-Stars, and Chelsie also departed after that season with seven seasons under her belt.

This isn’t all bad news, either — it leaves room for troupe members to step up and become pros this season, the source notes.

"Obviously, that means more female pros will be needed, so a few current troupe members will probably be getting their shot," the insider adds. "Right now, it's just not clear who."

Until the cast is officially announced on September 4, your guess is as good as ours, DWTS fans. Are you bummed that Anna and Chelsie won’t return? Who do you think will be upped to pro from the troupe? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
