Pro dancer Sharna Burgess stole the hearts of the Dancing With the Stars audience when she joined the show in Season 16. She captivated the audience with her creative choreography and was an essential part of Andy Dick's unforgettable run, so it comes as no surprise that most fans desperately want to see her back for Season 17. Will they get their wish?

You betcha! The Dancing With the Stars Powers That Be would be crazy to turn Sharna away, and a show insider confirms exclusively to Wetpaint Entertainment that the talented pro "absolutely" will be back this season. Cue the celebrations!

This news comes after a string of stories about female pros not returning. Earlier this week, Kym Johnson announced that she's skipping the season to pursue other stories, and yesterday, Wetpaint Entertainment learned that Anna Trebunskaya and Chelsie Hightower will also not be back. We're glad to finally have some good news for the DWTS fanbase.

Of course, there's still some mystery left. While Sharna is most certainly returning, her star partner is not yet confirmed. Sharna worked miracles with Andy Dick last season, transforming the man everyone thought would be hated into a beloved contestant with some surprising moves. That said, we're hoping she doesn't get pegged as just a patient pro who can work with anyone — we really want to see what she can do with a contender. Make it happen, DWTS bigwigs!

Are you happy to hear Sharna's coming back! Sound off in the comments below.
