When most celebrities compete on Dancing with the Stars, they temporarily relocate to Los Angeles, where the show is taped. That’s not the case for Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who didn’t want to uproot her 1-year-old baby son, Lorenzo. Instead, she’s going to train in New Jersey then commute to LA each week to film the show.

While psyching herself up on the flight, she’ll no doubt put her new line of Snooki Couture fashion headphones — available at Walgreens — to good use. Perhaps she’ll even select one of her favorite tunes (Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball,” Katy Perry’s “Roar,” and Lady Gaga’s “Applause,” among others) for her first performance with pro partner Sasha Farber!

Snooki chatted with Wetpaint Entertainment about how her family will handle her long distance gig, her strongest competition, and who’s going to come cheer her on in the audience!

Wetpaint Entertainment: When you fly to LA for the show every week, will Jionni and Lorenzo join you each time? Or will they spread their visits out?

Snooki: Jionni is coming to the first show, but I'm not sure when Lorenzo will fly out because it’s a 5-hour flight. I don’t want it to be too much for him. I’m a worried mommy.

Who do you think is your strongest competition on the show?

Corbin for sure! He already looks like a ballroom dancer!

How’s your chemistry with Sasha? Why is he the perfect partner for you?

Sasha is a great teacher. It's his first time competing and he's doing great! I feel like I've known him for years… we just click! He's also the perfect height for me, which is awesome.

We know Jenni is going to come cheer you on. Who else can we expect to see in the audience?

My parents, Jionni of course, friends, and hopefully a few more castmates coming to root for me!
