Sometimes on Dancing With the Stars you get contestants who can't tackle the technique, but are a joy to watch for other reasons. Valerie Harper was definitely one of those contestants. Yes, the competition was clearly taking a toll on her, and she was struggling to keep up with the fast pace, but it was hard not to be enamoured of her strength and the pure joy on her face whenever she danced.

However, an upbeat personality, compelling story, and graceful movements weren't enough to save Valerie during Week 4, when she was sent packing after performing a beautiful, but shaky, Viennese Waltz. Did you think this was the right call?

On one hand, it's easy to see how the answer is "Yes, definitely." There's no denying that, of the remaining contestants, Valerie was the most lacking in technique. Clearly, the show's quick pace was making it hard for her to perfect her performance for the live show.

That said, she was still one of our favorite performers every week. We find ourselves forgetting about some of the more technically proficient but emotionally lackluster dancers before the two hour show is even over, but Valerie's smile and elegant movements always stand out in our minds.

So, what do you think: Are you glad to see Valerie go out on a high note, or did she have a few more weeks in her?
