Before Julianne Hough returned to the ballroom as a guest judge on Dancing With the Stars Season 17, Week 4, fans were worried that she'd be biased in favor of her brother Derek Hough and her former dance partner and childhood friend Mark Ballas. But if you ask Mark, that was definitely not the case. In fact, he found Julianne a little hypocritical.

"The one comment for me that was a little funny is that I make it all about me," Mark told Us Weekly, referencing Julianne's jab that when he and partner Christina Milian dance side by side , Christina gets lost because Mark showboats too much. "All the critiques were at me, and not at [Christina]. So I thought that was a little hypocritical comment."

Hmm... actually, this seems like a valid critique to us (yes, we're judging Mark's judging of Julianne's judging. Judgeception!). Julianne spent a fair amount of time giving the other pros feedback on their choreography during her time on the bench. It was definitely interesting to get her inside perspective on how to make each star can shine as brightly as possible, but the show is supposed to be about how well the stars perform, not the pro choreography.

Of course, Julianne is far from the first judge to ever comment on choreography — in fact, her brother routinely gets in trouble with Len for choosing cool moves over classic style and overall we think she did a good job. Mark apparently agrees, since he also told Us Weekly he thought Julianne was "insightful" and "gave great tips," calling her one of the best guest judges he's seen on the show.

No hard feelings, right? Mark told Entertainment Weekly that Julianne "put a little sting on me, but that's OK. If that's how she felt, that's how she felt."
