For Most Memorable Year week on Dancing With the Stars Season 17 Week 5, Amber Riley picked 2009, the year she was turned down on American Idol...and then cast on Glee, one of the biggest hits of the year. She and Derek Hough did a Foxtrot to the Glee version of "Try A Little Tenderness."

The dance was energetic and Amber was full of smiles, which we love. In some ways it felt too energetic for a normally more fluid Foxtrot, and there wasn't much in hold. It got big cheers from the audience.

"Lady Amber is here to stay," Bruno raved. "My darling, you're a star." Carrie Ann told Amber that she's blown her away every week by being so good at every style. Len agreed that Amber is a star with a fantastic personality, but he, of course, criticized the dance for not being enough of a Foxtrot. Mostly, he was upset that there wasn't enough of the dance in hold. Derek's response? "I prepped her for that." You know, in case you were wondering if it was a mistake.

Score: 9, 7, 10. Interesting. Len was mad about that hold.
