Now that's what we call a ballroom twist!

Christina Milian may have scored the first 10 of Dancing With the Stars Season 17, but she was still sent home at the end of the night, which once again proves the theory that DWTS isn't so much about the dancing as it is about the story. Compared to underdogs Bill Engvall and Jack Osbourne, contestants like Christina don't really stand a chance.

Sure, she was a good dancer — even though we think her Week 5 Cha-Cha was slightly over-scored by Len — and she even had a bit of drama thanks to guest judge Julianne Hough's critical remarks toward her pro Mark Ballas, but at the end of the day, her personality just wasn't as captivating.

The ballroom was shocked to see Christina and fan favorite pro Mark exit so early in the competition — fellow bottom two celeb Leah Remini looked shocked to escape that elimination! — but Christina left the ballroom with her head held high. After all, she did leave on one heck of a high note.

Are you shocked to see Christina and Mark get eliminated? Do you think the right person went home? Sound off in the comments!
