On Dancing With the Stars Season 17 Week 5, the stars had to bring their most memorable years to life. Jack Osbourne chose 2012, which in many ways was both the best and worst year of his life: his daughter was born (amazing), but he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (horrifying). He and Cheryl Burke danced a Waltz to "I'm Kissing You," by Des'ree.

We thought it was one of his best dances. It was fluid, he kept his posture and hold well, and there were moments of real emotion there. We also have to give major kudos to whoever designed the gorgeous lighting, which really elevated the whole production. He got a standing ovation.

Bruno started by complimenting Jack's strength of spirit, and then... complimented the dancing, too! He thought the lines were good, and said Jack even got his "bum" under control. Carrie Ann said the grace of Jack's being slips into the grace of his dancing, and that was especially true tonight. Bruno said the Waltz is a big dance with big flowing movement, and Jack captured that. He also liked how much of it was in hold, though he does think Jack needs to work on his hands. However, overall he called it "fabulous."

Score: 9, 9, 9. 27/30.
