Dancing With the Stars pro Valentin Chmerkovskiy is a man of many talents. In addition to choreographing and dancing, he also sings and acts. Remember his "Toxic" duel with fellow pro Mark Ballas — with Val on the violin — and his stint on General Hospital? Incredible.
But wait, there’s more!
Val is also a rapper, and maybe you've heard his "Brother" rap for pro bro Maksim Chmerkovskiy. In March 2011, he released a single, "White Boy Boogie,” and he has his own "iamVALC" YouTube channel. And now he’s at it again.
Val and his DWTS Season 17 partner Elizabeth Berkley were recently on E! News and he demonstrated his rap skills — on cue! He managed to combine lyrics about his family, chicken soup, and Jiving all night. The man has gifts. Watch the video below.
Back in 2007, Val joked to E! that he might “pull a Sanjaya” and go on American Idol. “My voice sucks too,” he quipped. If Idol opens its doors to more rappers, all Val would have to do is cross the hallway, since Idol and DWTS tape in the same studio. Go for the crossover, Val!
What do you think of Val’s rap? Sound off below, and catch him and Elizabeth on Dancing With the Stars. The next episode airs on Monday, October 21 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
