Amber Riley and Derek Hough always push themselves hard, and that was definitely the case with their Samba on Dancing With the Stars 2013 Season 17, Week 6.

Amber started off the performance by showing her confidence in a solo dance, shouting out to the band before meeting Derek as they glided across the floor with spins and quick footwork. They nailed the tough "Samba roll" they fought so hard to master during rehearsals, and as always, they were perfectly in sync, adding some fun flair with hip movements and facial expressions.

For the most part, they were loved by the judges. "Apart from your performance value, which is out of this world, I was really looking for something wrong," Bruno Tonioli admitted. "But you did everything!"

"Every time I watch you, I can only think fierce, fierce, fierce,” Carrie Ann Inaba exclaimed. “All the elements were there ... it's like a turn-on!"

However, they still couldn't impress Len Goodman, causing an argument at the judges' table. “I found it a tad repetitive,” Len said, to which Carrie Ann exclaimed, “That was insane!” The crowd erupted in boos and Derek noted that he did certain moves just for Len, which was the “irony of it.” Ultimately, he noted she is “fantastic,” but still only gave them an 8.

With 10s from Carrie Ann and Bruno and Len’s 8, they scored 28 total.
