Dancing With the Stars 2013 Season 17, Week 6 featured Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke’s Paso Doble, and it was their more intense yet.

After being “coached” by Val, Jack felt confident in his facial expressions for the dance, starting out with flames behind them as they spun and moved quickly across the dance floor. Mastering some of the most difficult techniques they’ve done so far, they had the audience roaring and Val whistling from the sidelines.

“I think you had the intensity, but it felt one-dimensional to me,” Carrie Ann Inaba said, thinking that he was trying to be too stiff. Len disagreed, saying, “I think it was full of intent and purpose. You came out and did a Paso Doble, full-on, flat-out … top-notch.”

“Your timing wasn’t as good as usual,” Bruno Tonioli added. “Today, you were chasing the music. Usually you are spot-on, but you weren’t tonight.”

Overall, they scored two 8s and a 9, giving them 25 points.
