Dancing With the Stars Season 17, Week 8 was all about Cher. Cher's music, Cher's performances, and Cher's judging. We enjoyed seeing the icon in action, but it felt like she overshadowed the competitors — or maybe that's just because almost everyone underperformed.

After a couple of incredibly strong weeks where 10s were being thrown out all over the place, Week 8 was a bit lackluster. Few people were spectacularly bad, but no one was spectacularly good either. That said, there is always a best and a worst. Read on for our picks, and then sound off in the comments about who you thought brought it this week, and who flopped.

Best: Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff vs. Elizabeth Berkley and Val Chmerkovskiy, Cha-Cha-Cha

We love that two of the strongest couples in the competition faced off, and the result was two fab Cha-Chas. Corbin and Karina edged out Elizabeth and Val for the extra three points, but we thought either couple would have been deserving winners.

Honorable Mention: Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke, Tango

Finally, we were impressed by Jack. The Tango suited him, and he had good sharpness. This was just a solid, fun dance.

Score: 27/30.

Elizabeth should have knocked Jazz out of the park, since she has a background in it, but this performance was a bit of a mess. She probably shouldn't have forced Val to change the song after he'd already choreographed most of a different dance.

Score: 25/30.
