We know we aren't the only Dancing With the Stars fans who miss Chelsie Hightower's presence as a pro. The spunky blonde brought a youthful energy to the ballroom that often resulted in fun, creative choreography.

Unfortunately, Chelsie hasn't been featured as a competing pro since Season 15: All-Stars, when she and Helio Castroneves only made it to Week 3. Fortunately, fans can keep up with Chelsie's career by following her on social media. The young dancer is constantly tweeting and Instagramming fun updates about her life — and sometimes a flashback or two.

Recently, Chelsie posted the video below on Instagram, writing, "Throw back to age 13 when all that mattered was this..." And by “this,” we presume she means ballroom dancing, since the video shows Chelsie gliding across the floor with a partner during what appears to be a competition.

At an age when most teens are worrying about their first date or trying to ace the next bio test, Chelsie was immersed in the world of dancing. She started ballroom dancing at the age of nine, and won her first national title at age 11. Soon after that she switched her focus back to jazz, ballet, and hip-hop, but ballroom eventually pulled her back in. Clearly, she was too great at it to stay away for long.

Watch young Chelsie rocking it on the dance floor in the video below!
