Dancing With the Stars is now on its fourth co-host in Erin Andrews, but one guy has remained constant from the start: Tom Bergeron. He finally won an Emmy as DWTS host, and the place wouldn't be the same without him. Thankfully, it doesn't sound like he has plans to leave DWTS. However, he also currently hosts another ABC show, America's Funniest Home Videos, and that's the one he's eyeing for change.

Tom tweeted last week that he begins hosting his 18th season on DWTS on March 17 and wraps up shooting his penultimate season as host of AFV on March 27. Penultimate? Vulture asked him what's up, and Tom e-mailed a reply: "I'm embracing change this month. I’ve decided that, after 15 wonderful seasons as host of AFV, next year, the show's 25th anniversary(!!), will be my last." Well, spring is a time of growth and renewal, so ... he's springing forward.

Tom tweeted a link to Vulture's story that he was leaving one of his ABC shows, adding this update: "True, but we're not 'parting,' possibly. We've already pitched a LIVE spin-off show to ABC." So he's not cutting ties with the network, just possibly forging new ones.

What do you think of Tom's hosting change? He does love live TV, and that spin-off sounds like it has potential. Are you just glad he’s sticking with DWTS?

DWTS Season 18 premieres Monday, March 17 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
