Although 12 couples prepared to dance on Dancing With the Stars Season 18, Week 2, two unlucky pairs were marked from the start to go home at the end of the night. Yes, two. It turns out this week was a double elimination.

The first unfortunate eliminees? Diana Nyad and Henry Byalikov. Diana said she was disappointed that she wasn't able to give Henry a few more weeks on the show, but at least they got to perform their Cha-Cha-Cha after they heard the bad news. The second pair eliminated was Sean Avery and Karina Smirnoff.

In case you're still confused about the new voting rules, let's clarify: these eliminations were based entirely on the judges scores and votes from last week, Week 1. A little weird? Yep. But so was the scoring last season. The Dancing With the Stars Powers That Be are still trying to figure out the best way to deal with not having a results show.
