On Dancing With the Stars Season 18, Week 3, Candace Cameron Bure talked about the year Full House ended and she got engaged, transitioning from girlhood to womanhood. But what about the year Full House started? How old was Candace when her life changing journey began?

Candace was 10 when she was cast as D.J. Tanner on Full House — a fact that plenty of her fans are well aware of.

Wetpaint Entertainment teamed up with Viggle during the most recent episode of Dancing With the Stars to test fans on their Full House knowledge, and 47 percent correctly guessed that Candace was 10 when she started playing D.J. 40 percent of responders thought she was only 8, while only 13 percent thought she was as old as 12.

Candace may have been a kid when she started Full House, but plenty of the relationships she formed on the show have stuck with her as an adult. We saw several of her Full House co-stars turn out to support her on Week 3, and she recently revealed that she and Andrea Barber (Kimmy) run races together. How cool is that?
