What’s a party anthem, to you? Miley Cyrus’s “Party in the U.S.A.”? Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Want to Have Fun”? We’ll see what the final eight couples of the spring 2014 season get, but we can expect a fun night with lots of energetic dances like Cha-Cha and Jive. The costumes and hairstyles should be interesting, too!
Here’s who is dancing what on Monday, April 21:
Danica McKellar and Valentin Chmerkovskiy — Cha-Cha-Cha
NeNe Leakes and Tony Dovolani — Salsa
Drew Carey and Cheryl Burke — Tango
Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas — Cha-Cha-Cha
Charlie White and Sharna Burgess — Cha-Cha-Cha
Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy — Tango
Amy Purdy and Derek Hough — Jive
James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd — Quickstep
FYI, Sharna warned On the Red Carpet that they did not choose their Cha-Cha song. It’s a little more ‘80s than they wanted, she said. They don’t sound too thrilled with it, but … you can’t always get "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"!
Also, LMFAO frontman Redfoo will be this week's guest judge, and "Macy's Stars of Dance" will return for its second installment of the season with creative oversight by Derek Hough. In honor of Party Anthems Night, ABC says, "the ballroom will be transformed into a modern day soiree and the piece will feature the pro dancers as well as two surprise performers that are not to be missed." Surprise performers! Sounds good.
What routine are you most excited to see on Week 6?
DWTS Season 18 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
