On Dancing With the Stars Season 18, Week 8, Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas danced the Foxtrot.

Last week was a bit of a breakthrough for Candace, and in the video package it was clear they had a more positive vibe in rehearsal. They clearly are having a lot of fun. Candace said she loves Mark, they'll be friends forever. We got to see Candace at home with her family, who are all super supportive. Her daughter thinks it's awesome to see her mom working it on stage each week. Aww.

Their Foxtrot was all sorts of cute. Candace really got to use her personality. The actual Foxtrot content was pretty solid, too. Clearly, the confidence from last week hasn't gone anywhere. Fun, fun, fun.

Carrie Ann said that it's clear that Candace has found her footing, and has clearly had a breakthrough mentally. On top of that, there's a brand new flair in her body. Len called it joyful to watch. She could work a little on posture, but he loved it. Abby Lee Miller had a confusing choreography comment, but otherwise liked it. Bruno loved it. Lots of great moments. She still needs to extend her line, but it was great.

Score: 36/40.

Dancing With the Stars airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
