The injury curse strikes again! The final four couples of Dancing With the Stars Season 18 are pushing their bodies to the limit as they prepare for tonight’s two dances and tomorrow’s (May 20) big Finale.

Unfortunately, DWTS pro Mark Ballas seriously hurt his shoulder while rehearsing his Freestyle routine with Candace Cameron Bure. A show spokesperson told People, "Mark was seriously injured during camera blocking. His shoulder popped out during a lift and he was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he was treated and released. It's unclear whether or not he'll be able to perform on Monday's show."

Yikes! Mark was encouraged to sit out tonight’s show and, as a precaution, another DWTS pro is learning his routines with Candace to be ready to step in. But Mark said he wants to perform, so it would be surprising to see him sit out now. After all that hard work? It would be devastating.

You can actually see what happened in the rehearsal video below, shared on Good Morning America. As Derek Hough notes in the video, Mark has had a serious shoulder injury before, but in the other shoulder. And this season has already seen two major rib injuries from Danica McKellar and Amy Purdy, among other dancing bruises.

Watch the GMA video for more behind-the-scenes scoop, including issues the other Finalists are facing, since this has not been easy for anyone. Heal fast, Mark!
