On the Dancing With the Stars Season 18 finale, the couples had to redo their Switch Up week styles. That meant high stakes for Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, since Meryl's Argentine Tango with Val was one of the best dances of the season.

In their video package they worked on some pretty awesome looking lifts. "How can you enter a race without trying to win?" Maks mused. He wants to look back and know he'd had nothing else to give. He seems insecure again. Meryl said that she wants to win for Maks. Maks said he doesn't need Meryl to be better, he just needs her to be her, and he'll be better.

Maks's choreography is more dynamic, less intense than Val's. A different sort of Argentine Tango. Lots of lifts, amazing lifts. And a lot of fast footwork. Very, very different, but again, fantastic.

Bruno called it seductive. Their dancing has been developing each week and seems to be telling all one story, like a concept album. Carrie Ann said that last time she'd performed this style it was perfection, but once you add her chemistry with Maks it's even more perfection. Len said last time it was the dance of the night, and this could be again.

Score: 30/30.
