Many consider the Freestyle the most important dance of all in the Dancing With the Stars season, and the Season 18 stars certainly brought it on last night's Finale, Night 1. Which pair was the best?

We've already weighed in with our favorite of the four: Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Maks eschewed the idea of "supersizing" this dance, making it 100 percent about the partnership between himself and Meryl. If you ask us, it paid off; this performance was pure art and emotion.

Amy Purdy and Derek Hough went for a similar feel, though with more aerial acrobatics thrown in. While we didn't think it reached quite the emotional heights of Meryl and Maks' dance, it definitely had a bigger "wow" moment, with Amy flying over the ballroom at the end. What a way to end the night!

Then there was James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd's dance, which was a totally different vibe — tough, post-apocalyptic martial arts meets Hip-Hop. If you were looking for "cool," this was the dance of the night. James was smoking, and it certainly was unlike any Freestyle we'd seen before.

Finally, there was Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas. Lifts galore! If you wanted a smile on your face, this was the number for you. Fun and full of energy, this dance was a real crowd pleaser.

So, which was your favorite? Vote in our poll, and sound off in the comments below!
