Today is a good day to be a Dancing With the Stars fan. Emmy nominations were announced this morning, and our beloved ballroom show was given a lot of love.

Dancing With the Stars itself was nominated for Best Reality-Competition show, a category it's been nominated in consistently ever since it's been eligible. It's never won, but could this be its year? After the amazingness that was Season 19, we have our fingers crossed. It's up against The Amazing Race (which has won a whopping 9 times), Project Runway, So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef, and last year's winner, The Voice.

Of course, the incredible Tom Bergeron was nominated for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Show, an award he won in 2012.  While Tom himself always supports spreading the love, we'll be rooting for him to win again. That said, he's up against some pretty stiff competition: Betty White, Jane Lynch, Heidi Lium & Tim Gunn, Cat Deeley, and Anthony Bourdain.

The good news doesn't end there, though. Derek Hough was also nominated for Outstanding Choreography for the routines Human, Ameksa, and Too Darn Hot. He won this category last year. Could he do it again?

Dancing With the Stars also got nods for Outstanding Hairstyling For A Multi-Camera Series Or Special and Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction For A Variety Series.
