This Saturday, July 26, Dancing With the Stars favorites Maksim and Val Chmerkovskiy and Tony Dovolani met up in Westbury, New York, for a unique ballroom dance performance called "SWAY: A Dance Trilogy," where they were joined by Peta Murgatroyd and Zendaya. Yep, Val and Zendaya were united again!

The show was a performance in three parts, which each section highlighting a different star and style — Tony kicked it off with classic grace, Val hit a more modern and Hip-Hop note, and Maks closed the show with a sexy and sensual Latin section. They were joined by a cast composed of dancers from their Dance With Me studios staff.

Wetpaint Entertainment was on hand at the show, and it was clear that all three pros were thrilled with the project.

"It's an amazing event!" Tony explained to us. "What inspired it is that we always do shows for other people. We decided to involve all of our studios and come up with an incredible concept of three different acts and show off three different genres of dance, of music, of everything. We're taking people through the evolution of dance. And it's a fun way for the three of us to get together and do our thing."

Unsurprisingly, Zendaya joined Val for the most modern section of the show — which Val described as a tribute to the "roots of where we come from, where we started … A lot of fans think our lives started with Dancing With the Stars, and they didn't" — where she could put her Hip-Hop skills to good use. That's not to say she didn't bust out some awesome ballroom moves, too!

So, how did Val and Zendaya feel about being reunited on the dance floor? Great, of course!

"It was amazing [to dance with Zendaya again]," Val told us. "I'm really grateful for that. I'm grateful for our friendship... For me to be able to reach out to her and for her to just be on board, literally cancel whatever she was doing and be here, to prioritize me and us, means a lot to me."

Zendaya seemed to feel the same way, gushing that it was "awesome" to be reunited with her partner. "He's my brother. Not only do I love spending time with him, but it's really fun getting to dance with him again and learn more. It's definitely nice to have that skill and continue to learn."

Sadly, fans missed out on the chance to see Maks reunite with his Season 18 winner, Meryl Davis, who wanted to take part in the show but ended up having a conflicting commitment. But get this: According to Maks, Meryl's parents were planning to come anyway! Love it.
