Hey, remember when we all grabbed the torches and pitchforks and stormed the Dancing With the Stars castle over the Season 18 Switch Up twist? Good times! It didn't turn out to be quite as traumatic as we feared, but it could always live up to its trainwreck potential in Season 19. That’s right, the twist is back for the fall 2014 season!

Tony Dovolani mentioned its return when he and 11 more competing pros were revealed today on Good Morning America.

The spring 2014 Switch Up happened in Week 4, so we'll have to see if they keep to that schedule. The partners who made it to the Finals used the Switch Up routines as redo dances, performing them with their original partners to show how the celebs improved (and also to highlight the friendly pro rivalries).

Of course, the Switch Up was also when guest judge Julianne Hough called out Maksim Chmerkovskiy for "phoning" in his performing with Danica McKellar to get back to Meryl Davis. Partly because of that, and for other reasons, some fans just never cared for the twist. But others decided it turned out OK (Val's Argentine Tango with Meryl was gorgeous, for one).

Are you glad that the Switch Up is back? Do you think we’ll also see other S18 twists return? Hopefully they keep Disney Night; that’s the best theme they’ve had in ages.

DWTS Season 19 premieres Monday, September 15 from 8 to 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
