3 Reasons You Should Vote for Sabrina Bryan on DWTS All-Stars
Who will join the party: Carson Kressley, Sabrina Bryan or Kyle Massey? ABC is making us vote for the lucky 13th All-Star of Dancing With the Stars Season 15 on ABC, and the winner will be announced Monday, August 27. Not sure who should get your votes? We’re sharing arguments for all of them — check out our reasons to vote for Carson here, and reasons to vote for Kyle here — and now it’s Sabrina’s turn.
1. She was robbed on Season 5.
It still tops any list of most shocking departures in DWTS history. Whether you watched it or not, her Week 6 exit was a shock. She and Mark Ballas had the top score on Week 1 — a 26 out of 30, which was great. They kept the 26 on Week 2, went up to 27 on Week 3 and were the first couple ever to get a perfect 30 as early as Week 4. After that they got a score of 28 and still looked strong. Then, on Week 6, they had a "low" score of 25. It wasn't even the lowest of the week, but it was enough to send them home. Check out the video here.
Still, it didn’t seem like they were "voted out" from lack of popularity, it was a matter of maybe people assuming they would be safe. If Sabrina returns and gets voted out again, maybe it will show she wasn't robbed so much as just not that popular. But we doubt that's how it would play out — and she deserves a chance to prove it.
2. She's a great dancer.
Carson Kressley, who is competing against Sabrina for the final spot, admitted she was so good in the DWTS: Live in Las Vegas show you can't tell that she's not one of the pros. The final All-Star should be someone who can compete alongside six past champions and a huge group of other finalists. Sabrina has the best chance of taking them on, as opposed to just acting as comic relief.
3. She’s the Rocky of All-Stars.
Sabrina was eliminated sixth on Season 5, which is the same position Pamela Anderson was in on Season 10, despite never scoring as high. Bristol Palin managed to take third place on Season 11 with much lower scores than Sabrina. But neither Pam nor Bristol had to work her way onto the show. If Sabrina is chosen for another chance, it’ll prove she was never “overrated” and indeed deserves a second shot. It would be fun to see the “underdog” fight to show everyone she deserves the title of All- Star and can be a true champion — with the judges and the audience.
Dancing With the Stars Season 15: All-Stars will premiere on Monday, September 24 at 8p.m. ET/PT on ABC. Check out the full All-Stars cast list here.
