Sure, you've read our cast bios for Dancing With the Stars Season 13 celebs, but what about the three new pros? There’s more to them than good looks and sexy accents. So here are five bet-you-didn't-know tidbits about new pro — and Wetpaint Entertainment’s official Crush Of The Season — Tristan MacManus.

1. He would rather be a professional soccer player
Tristan, 29, is a native of Bray, Ireland, which is about 12 miles south of Dublin. He told his hometown paper The Herald that he attributes his dance talent to his grandparents Jon and Phyllis McCann, who were professional dancers. "They got us into it, myself and my sister. My sister didn't last too long. She didn't like the attention, I suppose. Apparently I did.” He gave up dancing for a while to have fun playing football (soccer) with his friends. “Where I come from, you don't really dance, you know. I think I was at the age, where, I suppose, I wanted to do what all me friends were doing,” Tristan said. "I gave up dancing for a while, and then I realised I wasn't as good at football as I thought I was. Then I decided to go back to dancing.” According to The Herald, he went on to win the All Ireland Championships in 2000, then got a part in musical Simply Ballroom in London, which took him to Las Vegas. Before joining the DWTS pro troupe for Season 13, he appeared in Ella Enchanted, was in the cast of the West End musical Dirty Dancing, and then joined dance company Burn the Floor.

2. He got here because of his accent … sort of
When Wetpaint Entertainment asked how he got involved with the DWTS dance troupe, Tristan explained, “It was by chance really, I was very aware of the show before but it was something I never thought about doing. I was working with London and DWTS contacted me about doing Season 11, but at the time I was in Burn the Floor and had just agreed to do the tour so didn’t want to jump ship.  Funnily enough, I had an audition for Strictly Come Dancing, the U.K. version of DWTS and they didn’t want me.” How could they not want him? Tristan also details how he and fellow troupe member Peta Murgatroyd managed to move up to the competitive side. “I tried to work as hard as I could on the troupe then I made it so it’s all paid off. Initially it was an interview, and they had footage from the shows to see how I was on camera. While we were on the troupe we would still come in every day to dance and that was like a test along the way. Then we were given someone who had just started to dance to teach to get an idea of how we react to a novice. I’ve made it here because I have an accent, like a bit of a laugh, and I’m a good teacher.”

3. He has five tattoos — so far
“They all mean something,” Tristan told Wetpaint Entertainment of his tats. “I’ve got five at the moment, but the collection is not finished yet. I have three on right arm from Celtic mythology, it’s broken up into four pieces so I have one more to get. On my ribs, I have my surname, in Ogham writing, which according to the the Natural History Museum of Ireland is the Celtic alphabet. My cousin at home has a tattoo parlor so I get them all done there. On my left forearm, it says ‘My family, my friends, my heart,’ in Gaelic. That’s what I’m about, it’s what is important to me so that was the first one I got four years ago.” So cute! And it’s almost like fellow pro Val Chmerkovskiy, who has “Family Over Everything” tattooed on his left arm.

4. Attention ladies — he’s “frustratingly single”
Tristan isn’t used to the attention he’s getting and no matter what we say we can’t get him to start tweeting, but eventually he’s going to want to talk to women beyond his Season 13 dance partner Nancy Grace. “I’m very single, frustratingly single but I’m getting a lot of call backs now!” Tristan told Wetpaint Entertainment. “Nancy is the only girl I can think about it at the moment.” Who are his dream ladies? “I love Rihanna, and Zoe Saldana, she is beautiful. I look at every girl and I think ‘You’re going to change my life.’ I’m very down to earth at heart.”

5. Get used to seeing his tongue stick out
Tristan got the full Nancy Grace treatment when he was on her HLN show recently. The clip of her interrogation is pretty adorable. She always grills and interrupts her guests and she battered Tristan with questions like, will he ever consider getting "a real job" like a doctor or lawyer? Was he really photographed in Vegas without his shirt on? ("False," he claims. "It was Reno!") And why is he always spotted with his tongue hanging out? "It falls out," he replied. "Me mouth's open all the time so it just falls out." Ha!
