Dancing With the Stars Season 16 is pretty much Andy Dick’s 14th trip to rehab. And it’s the most therapeutic one yet!
Andy and Sharna Burgess talked to E! News about the season so far, saying they keep adding hours to their rehearsal days. At this point they are up to 12-hour practices. That’s a lot! That’s twice as many hours as some couples put in — but maybe they need it, since they keep ending up toward the bottom of the pack score-wise, and they were in the bottom two on the Week 3 Results Show.
But DWTS is about more than learning to dance, for Andy. It’s about rehabilitation for his mind, body and soul. And so far things have been going better for him than he even expected. "I've been to rehab — we all know, I've said it a million times — but I've been to rehab 13 times and this is more and better than all of those,” Andy told E!. “Granted, those helped to get me — I would never have been able to do this show without kinda having that rehab background, but it's so rigorous. I've never done anything this hard in my life."
On Week 4, where the Top 10 couples dance to the theme of the best year of their lives, Andy will be doing a Viennese Waltz in honor of his daughter. Read more about that here.
