If Dancing with the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli was going to speak to anyone about the hubbub he caused when he said Michael Bolton gave one of the worst performances in the history of the show, you knew it was going to be someone friendly. So, good thing former DWTS contestant Niecy Nash is employed by ET. The comedienne corned Bruno backstage to get his thoughts on Bolton's singing performance last night.

"He did a fantastic job," Bruno said of Bolton's performance of "Hallelujah." "He had one hour to get that song right ... he gave an amazing performance." Sounds good, but does the judge have any regrets with how he handled things when Michael was a contestant? Not really. "No, I said the truth!" Bruno said laughing. "You have to be there and see everybody as equals, and if something needs to be pointed out..."

Bruno did seem to regret that Margaret Cho went home. "If we could, we would keep everybody."
