Week 7! Wow. Seems like just yesterday we were calling the Dancing With the Stars Season 14 premiere the best ever and hoping for a controversy-free season. Ha! Several injuries, fights and scoring disputes later, we’re ready to return to Classical Week, one of our favorite themes of all time and where DWTS first met Katherine Jenkins, back on Season 12.

This season, the seven remaining couples have an individual routine and a team dance — Team Paso or Team Tango. Here’s what the couples told On the Red Carpet about their Classical Week plans.

Roshon Fegan & Chelsie Hightower, Argentine Tango & Team Tango
What are they going to do next week to try and stay out of the bottom two? Nothing too different.

"We've brought everything we could to the table every single week," Chelsie said. "I think that he has done some really great performances. So next week, just clean it up even more and really get him moving like nobody ever has before."

Chelsie tweeted that they will be two-time Tango dancers this week, "Argentine tango coming up this week! Plus our team dance with team tango!"

Katherine Jenkins & Mark Ballas, Rumba & Team Tango
Katherine is used to singing on DWTS Classical Week, since that's where she made her debut. Asked to pick her favorite theme for a week, she said, "Well, I think my theme has to be Classical Week in it's all my friends performing. I don't know, I suppose this is a little bit more of what comes naturally. This is my comfort zone. I don't know how I'm going to dance to Classical Week, but certainly the music is my thing."

They don't discuss what exactly they will be dancing next week, but Katherine tweeted, “Hello NYC! So happy to be back.. 1st day of this weeks Rumba rehearsal done. Now better get to bed as I'm up at 3.30 to warm my voice up!” Plus, based on Maria Menounos' tweet, it looks like Katherine & Mark are on Team Tango with Maria & Derek, Roshon & Chelsie and Jaleel & Kym.

Jaleel White & Kym Johnson, Viennese Waltz & Team Tango
"We'll have the Viennese Waltz," Kym said, "and Jaleel does really well with the ballroom. The Foxtrot was our first dance so it's kind of similar to that. So I think we'll have a really good chance of staying up there."

"I have no trouble getting romantic and soft with this woman,” Jaleel said, “so I'm confident if we do make it through that the Waltz can be something special."

Obviously they did make it through and it looks like they are on the four-person Team Tango with Roshon and company, since Jaleel tweeted on Wednesday, “@ROSHON just told me I'm not old, my knees just get sleepy fast #Dwts #TeamDancePractice.”

Maria Menounos & Derek Hough, Paso Doble & Team Tango
"We're doing the Paso,” Derek told OTRC of their main dance. “And, uh, yeah. That's it. It's going to be interesting."

More details? "We haven't gotten our song yet,” he added. “They gave me the first song and it was so not right for anything, any dance." "Are they giving us another one?" Maria asked. "I hope so,” Derek said. “I pray!"

That was their status Monday night. Maria also tweeted on Wednesday, "Rehearsals for team dance are so fun!" In the pic are Maria, Katherine Jenkins and Roshon Fegan spelling out the words "Team Tango."

William Levy & Cheryl Burke, Viennese Waltz & Team Paso
Cheryl is happy to have the Viennese Waltz for Classical Week.

"It's beautiful. I love it," Cheryl said. What side of William's personality will they bring out? "The romantic, the graceful, the dominating, the sophisticated side of William," she said.

Loverboy laughed. "Ha, I have to find that one! I have to really look for that one."

Cheryl also tweeted that they are on Team Paso.

Donald Driver & Peta Murgatroyd, Viennese Waltz & Team Paso
Peta is glad to have another ballroom dance, following their Motown Week Foxtrot.

"It's Viennese Waltz, Classical Week," Peta said. "So it'll be very prim and proper and old fashioned. It's going to be good. If he can keep the posture and keep the frame the whole time — which he did [during the Week 6 Performance Show], it was beautiful — I think it's good that we've got another ballroom dance next week 'cause he's got all the skills now and can just transfer them over to next week."

They are aiming for three 10s, so we'll see if the judges are in a good mood.

Melissa Gilbert & Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Argentine Tango & Team Paso
Whatever dance they were originally assigned for Week 7 — Maks doesn’t name it in the video, which was shot on Monday night — it’s hopefully not what they are working on now.

"I'm actually, as a bad partner [laughs], I'm battling for what dance we're going to do," Maks said. "I was told what our next dance is ... and I don't think that that's what's best for her, so I'm going to bat for her and try to get the better song, the more suitable, the one that she can keep moving forward with and not something that will set us back. Week 7 is not something that I want to set us back with."

Referencing their fight in the Week 6 rehearsal package, Melissa adds, "This from the guy who apparently doesn't respect me or care about me at all." She kisses him on the cheek. "I'm an a**hole," Maks jokes.

In his TV Guide blog, posted Thursday, Maks explained that his ankle is injured and he's trying to rest it and take it day by day. His brother Val has stepped in to help him work with Melissa in rehearsals. "Next week is Classical Week and we also have a team dance," Maks wrote. "Our dance is the Argentine tango, so it'll be a clashing of styles to the classical music. Even though Val's here, it's still my vision for the dance. I don't want it to be a two-person thing. But to be honest, having another person just sitting here helps."
