The Dancing With the Stars judges can say what they want — they’re only half the battle. We have our own favorite routines each week. For Season 13's Week 9 Semifinals, we’re ready to rescore the Cha-Cha Relay. Are we dance experts? Nope. Just experts at knowing what works after years of watching DWTS. Repeat viewings can change perspective, too. Bonus: We're not going to over- or under-score anyone just to rig the finale!

4th place: J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff
No one could possibly love J.R. more than us, but watching this back, he was definitely doing less than he would if he hadn't just hurt his right ankle — and much less than every other celeb in the relay. He's better than this, but it was an off night.

3rd place: Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
This was loose and fun with lots of movement. They were all over that dance floor. It looked like one of Hope's better dances, and she actually seemed to be having fun! It wasn’t as sharp and controlled as it could’ve been, but it was definitely not worthy of that 4.

2nd place: Ricki Lake and Derek Hough
At first, this one looked like it was the best, but Ricki was a little too stiff. Compare her to Cheryl and Karina, and you'll see how sexy and powerful the women are supposed to be. Still, the dance was clean and sharp, which has been the Team DRickilous trademark this season.

1st place: Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke
After watching this back several times, it’s clear Cheryl deserved the 10. No disrespect to Rob but he's not quite 10 material yet. Cheryl had him moving and shaking his Kardashian bubble butt, but the female pros owned the whole relay.

Don't take our word for it: Rewatch the relay and decide for yourself!
