D.L. Hughley isn't the first Dancing With the Stars contestant to take issue with the judges, but he's fighting back more than most. In fact, he's so upset with the way the judges have treated him that it came up on the Season 16, Week 3 Results Show (April 2, 2013).

In the behind-the-scenes segment of the Results Show D.L. called the judges "bullies." Fair, or off the mark? Apparently Len Goodman doesn't feel bad about his Week 3 comments to D.L., because when he was given a chance to explain himself, he did the opposite of apologize: "I thought I was a bit generous last night, actually, D.L.," he said. "I was about on the money."

We're torn. On one hand, there's no denying that D.L. is not a strong dancer, and this is Dancing With the Stars — barbs from the judges are part of the experience. If you can't handle the snark, get out of the ballroom, right?

On the other hand, it does feel to us like the judges, especially Len and Bruno, are verbally harsher with D.L. then the other dancers, even if their scores aren't far off the mark. It's not like he's one of those contestants who puts in no rehearsal effort. He's clearly trying, and they aren't giving him much productive feedback to work with.

What do you think: Are the judges out of line, or does D.L. need to suck it up?
