We'll admit it: Here at Wetpaint Entertainment we've fallen a bit in love with Andy Dick on Dancing With the Stars 2013. Like much of America, we've been surprised to find him hardworking, hilarious, and downright touching in his dedication to Season 16. Maybe we're a bit biased when we say Andy was underscored during Week 5, but we definitely didn't think his high flying Paso Doble deserved to be at the bottom of the pack.

We touched bases with his pro partner Sharna Burgess to see what she thought of their low scores, and how she feels headed into the elimination tonight.

Sharna told us that she does believe Andy, who got three sixes, was underscored. "I was hoping for a 7 or two in there somewhere," she admitted, adding that she felt the judges "were a little harsh on him with some of the comments that came out. I felt like it was just making fun, not constructive criticism, last night."

Of course, she was also willing to acknowledge that not everything went according to plan. "Reality is, we did have mess ups, we did," she explained. "But at the end of the day the cape went wrong and [Andy] still fixed it for the ending, so I couldn't be more proud of him for that."

Andy's 18/30 landed him on the bottom of the leaderboard next to D.L. Hughley. Given that tenuous position, how is Sharna feeling heading into tonight's elimination?

"I feel good," she told us, with maybe a bit of a sigh. "Look, I feel like Andy delivered a really strong and solid performance yesterday. Yes, things went wrong, because sometimes they do. The point is he performed the heck out of the routine and entertained everyone sitting in the audience and sitting at home, and still finished it with an absolute bang. When I watch it back, I couldn't ask for anything more from him."

"I hope we're safe," she added. "And I hope we entertained people enough for them to pick up the phone and vote for us, but you never know what's going to happen. Tuesdays suck, because you never want anybody to leave. You don't want to leave, and you don't want anybody else to leave. The whole day just kind of feels off."

As for Andy, Sharna says he's been "blown away" by his experience on the show. "He feels like if he were to leave today, he feels like he's accomplished so much, and he would leave a happy man. But at the same time he wants to be in it to win it. He's in it to work until Week 10."

Will the fan vote save Andy from elimination? Find out if he survives to dance another week tonight, Tuesday, April 16 2013 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
