As everyone watching Dancing With the Stars Season 16 knows, Victor Ortiz is still getting his dancing feet, but he's already improved by leaps and bounds throughout the first three weeks. What keeps him going? In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Victor talked about the key to his success.

Victor was in the bottom during Week 2, but he didn't let that get him down. Instead, "I took that as a wake-up call to work harder and dedicate myself to learning the dances the best I could." He said his goal with Week 3 was to "prove to everyone that I was dedicated ... and that I could dance!"

Mission accomplished, if you ask us!

Victor also confirmed that he's dedicated to trying to win the Mirror Ball. "Being an athlete, I am naturally competitive and I like to win," he explained. "But also it would be pretty cool to know that I could dance that well!"

While he might not have the natural talent of some of the other competitors, we love that Victor seems really into the dancing element of this dancing competition. Are you Team Victor? Let us know in the comments below, and check out the full interview here.
