All will be known tomorrow (Tuesday, February 26) when the cast of Dancing With the Stars Season 16 is revealed. There will reportedly be 12 couples, which means 12 pros should be cast to compete. But which pros?

WHO IS DEFINITELY IN?
Derek Hough, Tony Dovolani, Val Chmerkovskiy, Mark Ballas and Cheryl Burke have all tweeted about returning, and in some cases they’ve even tweeted about recently meeting their new partners. According to @DWTSGossip, Tristan MacManus, Peta Murgatroyd and Karina Smirnoff are also in. We have three new pros joining the team, including So You Think You Can Dance Season 9 alum Lindsay Arnold, DWTS Australia alum Gleb Savchenko, and DWTS pro troupe dancer Sharna Burgess, who tweeted that she was bumped-up to competing pro. If that’s true, that’s the six male dancers, but it would leave room for one more lady pro... unless they cast more female celebs than male.

WHO IS DEFINITELY OUT?
Chelsie Hightower, Lacey Schwimmer and Louis van Amstel have tweeted about being out as competing pros, but planned to return to dance on Results Shows. There’s a Twitition out there for Anna Trebunskaya to be on Season 16, since it sounds like she is also not scheduled to compete.

WHO IS PROBABLY OUT?
It sounds like Kym Johnson may have to be out, due to Celebrity Apprentice Australia.
Maksim Chmerkovskiy has yet to tweet anything official about Season 16. According to TMZ, he told producers he would not be returning. According to Access Hollywood, he was not asked to return. It sounds like he’s out for the season — especially if they already have six guys out of 12 total pros — but if he shows up anyway we won’t be surprised, since “Maks is quitting!” stories come and go like the seasons.
