Will another teenage Olympic gymnast win Dancing With the Stars? Online betting site Bovada is bravely entering the fray with its odds to win DWTS Season 16, which starts March 18 on ABC. They went for the rather safe choice of Aly Raisman as the one to beat, followed by American Idol’s Kellie Pickler and Shake It Up’s Zendaya Coleman.

Here are Bovada’s current odds:

Aly Raisman — 7/2
Kellie Pickler — 5/1
Zendaya Coleman — 5/1
Jacoby Jones —  13/2
Ingo Rademacher — 7/1
Victor Ortiz — 15/2
Dorothy Hamill — 9/1
D.L. Hughley — 10/1
Wynonna Judd — 15/1
Lisa Vanderpump — 20/1
Andy Dick — 33/1

They gave Andy the worst odds. The controversial people rarely leave first, but it does seem like Andy may be a tough fit with this family-friendly audience (unless some people have never even heard of him and he can charm them somehow?). And only two weeks with Lisa, Gleb Savchenko and Giggy?! Say it ain’t so.

Actually, we’ll go ahead and say it probably ain’t so, since these betting sites are usually as off as we are at picking early winners. For example, for All-Stars Season 15, Vegas Deluxe gave Apolo Ohno and Helio Castroneves best odds to win, with the actual winner, Melissa Rycroft, ranked ninth on the list, below Sabrina Bryan and Emmitt Smith. Later in the season, Bovada said Shawn Johnson would win, with Apolo having the second best odds.

For Season 14,  VegasOddsOn said William Levy and Jaleel White had the best odds to win. For Season 13, Bodog gave Elisabetta Canalis the best odds to win, followed by Carson Kressley. None of those people won — most didn’t even get close. In fact, it may be bad news for Aly that she was picked as the DWTS Season 16 winner, since the track record is so spotty.

Where are you placing your bets this season? Yeah, we have to watch them dance first, but there’s time to kill so why not go crazy and just pick a favorite to win? We already made our pre-season prediction...
