Country star Wynonna Judd is the latest Dancing With the Stars contestant to see two-time star Kirstie Alley as a spirit guide through the sparkly world of dance.

Wynonna told People Kirstie is her "mentor in this process” of DWTS Season 16. "I've talked to Kirstie so many times. She said if you have fun and you do everything that you're going to be doing with your heart, the rest will follow. I really believe that. She really misses [the show]."

Wynonna told the magazine her own health took a backseat when her husband’s leg was amputated after a motorcycle accident. "I definitely went into being the wife and caretaker, and I let myself go in terms of way down the list. There were days and days and days that I didn't walk. I'm a walker, and I'm always telling my fans how to be healthy. It's not about size and numbers, but I can honestly say I've seen the pictures from when I got married and before, and I see them now and I think, 'You know what? I deserve to be healthy. I'm worth it.' "

She knows the DWTS schedule “will force me to take care of myself." Hopefully it will launch a pattern of eating and behavior that she can take away from the show, after the season ends. Wynonna is dancing with Tony Dovolani, who not only won Season 15 All-Stars, he’s best friends with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who danced two seasons with Kirstie. So they can all trade war stories during off-hours. Good luck!
