When Team Menough talks injuries, it’s usually because of Maria Menounos’s ribs, feet, chin, etc. But this time the pain belongs to Dancing With the Stars pro Derek Hough — and it’s coming the day before the Season 14 Semifinals Performance Show.

“Dr. Menounos has been helping me with my back,” Derek tweeted Sunday. “Her team of docs and therapists. She's become an expert with all her injuries this season.”

Maria added late Sunday night, “Everyone say a prayer for my #dwts partner @derekhough....he injured himself today. Hopin he's ok in am to dance:)”

Maria has already said she considers herself to be the weakest dancer left in the final four and Derek said they are going to have to perform some showstopping routines to make it into next week’s Finals. So chances are Derek will rally and they will dance tonight. Just remember the immortal words of Patrick Swayze in Road House: “Pain don’t hurt”!
