Lacey Schwimmer is bringing her sexy sass overseas — but don't worry, that shouldn’t stop her from potentially returning to Dancing With the Stars, if she's asked to be the final pro on Season 15 All-Stars.
According to a new story in The Daily Mail, Lacey has been hired as one of the choreographers for Strictly Come Dancing, the original UK show from which the American DWTS was born. She helped choreograph two Strictly routines, but it sounds like her work there is done — for now, anyway.
Back on August 16, Lacey was already wrapping things up, tweeting, "tomorrow is my last day working with the Strictly Come Dancing crew! then Vegas - NYC - ATL - LA phew!" On August 18 Lacey tweeted, "Loved working with the Strictly Come Dancing cast!" and added a cute photo with the group. The next day, asked how it was in England, Lacey tweeted, "So great! Miss it already!" Another fan said she should "Come back to the UK ASAP" and she replied "Planning on it!"
But she also seems to be hoping to return to DWTS. Lacey has been steadily retweeting notes of support — not just for her Season 11 partner Kyle Massey to be cast on All-Stars, but for a "Team Schmurgles" reunion of Kyle and Lacey. Kyle was on Good Morning America today, stumping for votes, and he also shared his excitement about the possibility of reuniting with Lacey.
As we've already noted, we have no idea what DWTS is going to do when it comes to the 13th pro. It's possible Lacey could return even if Carson Kressley is voted in instead of Kyle. We'll find out the final contestant — and their partner — this Monday on GMA.
Dancing With the Stars Season 15: All-Stars will premiere on Monday, September 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. Check out the full All-Stars cast list here.
