Drew Lachey and his partner Anna Trebunskaya may be fretting about their bottom two finish on Dancing With the Stars this week, but apparently the 98 Degrees alum has even bigger worries when it comes to putting on his tap shoes!
In a recent interview with People magazine, Drew admitted that one of the most stressful aspects of his return to the show is his over-the-top hair and makeup.
Telling the mag that for Season 15 All-Stars, he’ll have his wife and kids close by in L.A., the former pop star discussed the advantages to taking time off with the family.
“Not [worrying] about whether it’s rhinestones or tulle, or spray-tanning or Fake Bake,” he said with a laugh. “Those are the hard, pressing questions you have to deal with on Dancing With the Stars. I mean it just really, really weights on you. So for me, I need to be able to go home and play with the kids and be real.
Of course, Drew’s not entirely certain he’ll be accepted back into family life with open arms!
“The skin tone might throw her off a little bit,” he said, discussing his daughter. “But she likes Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, so she might just think I’m an Oompa Loompa.”
