That was kind of fun! After the sad part, anyway.

During the Dancing With the Stars Season 15 Week 3 Results Show, after the sad passing of Drew Lachey & Anna Trebunskaya but before the surprise departure of Helio Castroneves & Chelsie Hightower, DWTS had the All-Stars choose dance styles for the Week 4: Performance Show. They were given a list of 10 options — many of them brand spankin’ new to DWTS — and had 10 seconds, as a couple, to choose a dance style for a specific competitor.

Not much actual strategy seemed to be at play, or at least nothing malicious. This is clearly not Survivor! For example, Apolo Ohno and Karina Smirnoff were given Hip Hop, which is one of his strengths, if you watched his Season 4 winning Freestyle. And considering former cheerleader/choreographer Paula Abdul will be a guest judge, something like Hip Hop will probably be right up her alley. Sabrina Bryan and Louis van Amstel gave Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy the Charleston to be nice, although you’d never know it from Kirstie and Maks’ reaction. They acted as if they’d been shot! Guess they would’ve preferred the last option, Rock & Roll, which went to Bristol and Mark.

WHO IS DANCING WHAT?

Here’s the rundown of who gave which dance to which couple:

Gilles Marini & Peta Murgatroyd — Bristol and Mark picked Bollywood for them.

Sabrina Bryan & Louis van Amstel — Kirstie and Maks picked Disco for them. Louis just didn’t want a Polka (not that that was an option).

Shawn Johnson & Derek Hough — Helio and Chelsie picked Mambo for them.

Emmitt Smith & Cheryl Burke — Kelly and Val picked Bolero for them.

Apolo Anton Ohno & Karina Smirnoff — Melissa and Tony picked Hip Hop for them.

Melissa Rycroft & Tony Dovolani — Apolo and Karina picked Jitterbug for them.

Kelly Monaco & Val Chmerkovskiy — Emmitt and Cheryl picked Contemporary for them.

Helio Castroneves & Chelsie Hightower — Shawn and Derek picked Broadway for them.

Kirstie Alley & Maksim Chmerkovskiy — Sabrina and Louis picked Charleston for them. (Kirstie and Maks acted so pained about it!)

Bristol Palin & Mark Ballas — They were left with Rock & Roll, which was probably a good one to have. Kirstie and Maks probably would’ve loved to be stuck with that. But Bristol and Mark really wanted a Tango — not that that was an option. Then again, Rock & Roll isn't really a dance style, so they could easily come up with a Rock & Roll-themed Tango.

However, at the end of the night, it was revealed that Helio and Chelsie would be going home. So .. no Broadway performance?! Double bummer!
