Kelly Monaco and Valentin Chmerkovskiy and Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are the only two remaining Dancing With the Stars All-Stars couples who have not scored a 10. The other five couples have all seen at least one 10, or a perfect score of three 10s. Last night, on the Week 8 Performance Show, Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani got a double shot of perfect scores, first for their Quickstep and then for their Trio dance with Troupe member Henry Byalikov.

After the show, Val tweeted his appreciation for the Trio Dance. “Wow @MelissaRycroft , @TonyDovolani and @HenryByalikov KILLED IT TONight!!!! #incredible #dwts #history A truly beautiful dance performance.” Right after that, he tweeted, “The first earned 10s of the season,” so, presumably, he was still referring to that Trio Dance. But he must’ve also been referring to all the other couples who had 10s previous to that point.

Last night, Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke also got a perfect score for their Trio Salsa. Last week, Shawn Johnson and her substitute partner Mark Ballas got a perfect score for their Fusion Dance. The week before that, both Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff and Sabrina Bryan and Louis van Amstel got perfect scores.

But let’s focus on the positive — Val’s love for Melissa, Tony and Henry’s dance. It’s good to be discerning, so when you do rave about something, it has much more impact! Having said that, Team Vally is owed at least one 10 by now, right?
