Get ready for the fast and the furious on Dancing With the Stars Season 15 Week 2!

The 12 remaining All-Stars must dance either the Quickstep or the Jive and there’s nothing slow about either style. The couples talked to On the Red Carpet about their dancing plans, including a lot of excitement about their song choices — especially from Bristol Palin. Seriously! Bristol is usually a very reserved pistol but she gushed when talking about how she’ll dance to her favorite song. Read on for more Week 2 teases.

Helio Castroneves & Chelsie Hightower, Jive
What’s next for the Season 5 winner and his new talented “blondie”?

"We have the Jive next week,” Chelsie said. “It's going to be a great number. We want to bring some edge to it, but we also want to bring his personality back. Helio has such an infectious personality, we want to continue to bring that. Because people smile when he dances. I smile when he dances! If he can make audiences smile, I think that's a great thing. So we're going to continue with that."

Kirstie Alley & Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Jive
Kirstie has already kissed Tom Bergeron on the lips. What will get us talking about Kirstie and Maks next week? "Different color hair," Kirstie teased to OTRC. "Wait till you see that."

That's it. These crazy kids spend most of their interviews joking or bickering and, in this one, they don't even mention their dance style. It's cute, but if you want answers — other than Maks saying he really wanted Emmitt Smith to be eliminated first and he wants a worldwide DWTS dance tour where only the judges are eliminated — you have to go to Kirstie’s Twitter: "JIVE MFers JIVE!!!!!!!!! I AM THE MESSENGER ... THERE is LIFE after 50!!! Shoot for the STARS BITCHES!! JIVE is for the LIVING!!! SMOOCH!!" At least she's having fun!

Joey Fatone & Kym Johnson, Quickstep
Joey was The Jive King of Season 4, but he loves the Quickstep too, so he’s excited for this dance.

"I love this Quickstep,” Kym added, “because we got the music a little before, so we had a head start on it. I love the routine." Joey agreed, sharing more music teases. “The song's great. It's kind of really cool because younger kids will get it ... but basically it's a song from an artist but another artist re-did it, and it's more of a big band kind of thing." The original is a lot slower, he said, and this one is up-tempo and a lot of fun.

Shawn Johnson & Derek Hough, Jive
Who doesn't like the Jive? Miss Shawn Johnson. "I don't remember liking the Jive at all," the Season 8 winner told OTRC. "It's so fast!"

"Most people don't like the Jive," Derek said. "I'm not gonna lie." But the Jive is awesome! And Shawn and Derek will surely do an awesome, and fast, routine. "I really like the song," Derek said. "I like the energy. I like what we've done so far. I'm excited about it."

Derek said the couples have had some extra time to work on this second routine, but after watching everyone on the premiere, he’s changing some things in his choreography. The competition has prompted him to take things to a different level. Look out!

Drew Lachey & Anna Trebunskaya, Jive
Drew really, really doesn't want to be eliminated next week — this place is like a second home to the Season 2 winner — so he and Anna are putting 100 percent of their energy into this Week 2 Jive.

"I can say, on my side of things, I'm going to do everything in my power to make the best Jive I have ever possibly done and the best Jive that this dance floor has ever seen," Drew told OTRC. "I don't care if I have to literally bleed on this floor, it is going to be the best Jive I can possibly, possibly do and I know Anna is going to bring the same intensity to this dance."

They had their wake-up call in the bottom two. Now it's no holds barred. Bring it!

Gilles Marini & Peta Murgatroyd, Jive
Gilles is especially excited for this week since their song is by his late father's favorite band. “It’s huge to me.”

He’s also excited about their dance style, which is a surprise to him. "I never liked the Jive [but] she showed me her choreography and I really like it and I really got it in a way that is super hard." Peta agreed it's extra hard since it's syncopated and super fast. "I gotta look like her the entire time," Gilles said. They will be traveling across the floor with their similar moves, and it will be "beautiful" if he can make it happen. Gilles has already had a lot of injuries, but Peta said he's fine and the choreography will not change for him.

Kelly Monaco & Val Chmerkovskiy, Quickstep
We've already seen, with Pamela Anderson, what can happen if rehearsal time is cut short. This week, Kelly is working three days on General Hospital, so she's only going to have maybe two or three days to learn her Quickstep routine, then do camera blocking and the rest.

So there's some stress, but also excitement to keep moving forward and show what the Season 1 winner can do. "I'm very excited because this week she really showed a different side of Kelly — very technical, very Latin, very sexy," Val said. "Next week is a Quickstep, it's going to be a lot more regal, a lot more playful, a lot more gracious, if you will. I'm very excited to show a different side of her."

Apolo Anton Ohno & Karina Smirnoff, Quickstep
If you liked Apolo’s Cha-Cha-Cha, you should love his Quickstep. That’s Karina’s take, anyway.

"I really, really think Quickstep is Apolo's stronger dance," Karina said. "We have an amazing song. I think the routine is really fun. I can't wait. I cannot wait for next Monday to show everybody." Apolo agreed it will be "super fun." To illustrate how they really CAN'T wait, they start dancing right in the video. Cute!

Bristol Palin & Mark Ballas, Quickstep
Usually Mark is the one talking about how excited he is for a dance. "This one, though, I'm going to be digging," Bristol said, smiling like we never see her smile. "I am obsessed with the song that we have for it. It's just like my anthem. It is! I can't wait. It's going to surprise people. It's not going to be a typical Quickstep."

Mark said this is Bristol's favorite song of all time. She sings it every day. So she's pumped for this like nothing else. "Have you ever heard me talk about anything or be excited about really anything?" she said.

Nope! This should be good.

Melissa Rycroft & Tony Dovolani, Jive
Melissa made it to the finals on Season 8, but when it came time to do the Jive, she was injured and couldn’t perform live, so her rehearsal tape was judged.

"The Jive scares me,” Melissa said. “That's the one I didn't do my season. That's when I had the punctured lung." They have to bring energy and fun and technique, but after seeing the dances from the premiere, Melissa knows "personality" is going to be particularly important. "You have to make it such a mix and the audience has to enjoy what they see on the TV screen."

Watch their video here.

Emmitt Smith & Cheryl Burke, Quickstep
Cheryl is still trying to find the perfect balance between giving viewers the same Emmitt who won six years ago and bringing something fresh and new for All-Stars. Things seem to be working out so far, since they had the top scores of Week 1. But now what?

They are cagey about their plans for Week 2. Emmitt leaves it at "I am looking forward to the Quickstep." We'll have to wait and see for more!

Sabrina Bryan & Louis van Amstel, Quickstep
Louis said Sabrina's like the little kid in the candy store who never had anything and now she's surrounded by all this sugar. Sabrina joked that she would've loved to take a lap around the dance floor and high five everyone in the premiere crowd, she's that excited to get her second chance.

There's no way to tame the Cheetah Girl, but Sabrina remembers how head judge Len Goodman knocked her down on Season 5 for her Jive being too fast. She knows she needs to calm down a bit.

"It's not a good feeling to know that I have a Quickstep that's fast," Sabrina said. "But it makes more sense to me. .. He always talks about light and shade, big and small. Things like that. That makes more sense to me. I don't know if it's just years of watching the show since I've done it, or the way Louis' explained it to me, or whatever it is. I really get it this time. Louis' really good about pulling out exactly what I need to do."
