Even winners have off dances. Dancing With the Stars Season 15 All-Stars is bringing back six champions, three runners-up, two third-place finalists, and two mid-season eliminations, and they all had some routines they did better than others.
The Huffington Post talked to six All-Stars about which dances have challenged them the most in the past. Some celebs dread returning to those dances, but others are chomping at the bit to prove they can improve.
Melissa Rycroft: The dance that intimidates the Season 8 alum the most is the sexy, smooth Rumba. "Because it's just not me, it's not my personality." She said it's more of a Gilles Marini or Pamela Anderson dance. It's hard for her to get into character.
Drew Lachey: The Season 2 winner said he can nail all of the dances (ego check!), but the biggest challenge and stretch will be the Rumba. "It's a little bit slower you have to have hip action." He remembers getting notes from the judges on his not-so-great hip action and lines.
Bristol Palin: Bristol had trouble with the Jive — remember her infamous monkey suit on Season 11? — but she got to do it again and feels she did better the second time.
Helio Castroneves: Helio agreed with the judges that he didn't do a great job on his Jive in the Season 5 finals. (He got two 8s and a 9.) He'd like to do that one again.
Kelly Monaco: Kelly said all the standard dancing is difficult because it's smooth, elegant, and graceful and those are words the Season 1 winner wouldn't use to describe herself.
Pamela Anderson: The last dance Pam did on Season 10 was the Waltz and she'd like to re-do it.
